SAM's new version, 5.118, is now in the final stage of testing for release.
According to SAM general manager, Darryn Crothall, a strong focus of this version will providing SAM users with technology to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce costs. "An example of this is emailing documentation", said Crothall, "Email had obviously been around for a while, but SAM will now be able to send bulk invoicing and bulk statement runs, potentially saving our clients a huge amount of stationery and mail cost in addition to reducing usage of paper, printing and transportation".
Among other major development, work is also underway to incoporate NZ Post postcoding requirements into SAM with the goal of obtaining full accuracy accreditation. This will allow SAM users to benefit from NZ Post bulk mailing discounts.
