SAM's latest software release, version 5.116, has reached release and is now being rolled out to nearly 1000 sites nationwide.
This major release incorporates 15 months of development and sees the introduction of several new features:
1. Integrated EFTPOS has been added to SAM
2. New Pump point-of-sale interface has been completed
3. Several SMS text messaging additions have been made (job details can now be sent automatically to remote field technicians, a message with a pre-defined delay can be sent)
4. Payroll interfaces have been completed
5. Smart Cover roadside assistance scheme has been integrated
6. Interfaces to the Smart Trade parts loyalty programme have been completed
7. An automated debtors account small balance writeoff facility has been added
