SAM Computer Systems Ltd and the New Zealand Motor Trade Association (MTA) have jointly launched an Industry Benchmarking programme. This programme is the first tangible result of a new business partnership between the two organisations and will provide critical business intelligence feedback to participating MTA member sites.
Initially, key indicators such as Hourly Rates, Workshop Productivity & Efficiency, Per Job Revenue, Parts to Labour Sales Mix Ratios and Sales Margins will be measured and the programme will expand into measuring other areas of the business over time.
Through its parent company Systime, SAM Computer Systems Ltd has vast experience in measuring the business performance of motor industry businesses. This experience has been gained over the past 25 years with exposure to nearly 2500 New Zealand automotive industry businesses, all major franchises/manufacturers and over 7000 system users at all levels.
The SAM / MTA benchmarking programme is open to all current MTA members. Interested members should contact MTA Membership Service Manager, Anna McGeorge.
